The Story of Jungle Adventures Costa Rica Sep 07

Jungle Adventures Costa Rica

“Come Get Lost With Us”

Typical Day with Jungle AdventuresAs told by Deb Korzen: Ron and I were born and raised in Buffalo, NY. While growing up we both enjoyed hiking and camping in local parks and forests. When we met it didn’t take long for us to see that life is an adventure. As we broadened our horizons we went west to the Rocky Mountains, Yellowstone, and Glacier National Parks. We then headed north to Canada visiting Jasper and Banff and Alaska. We ended up in Denver, Colorado where we raised our family of two sons, Jeremy and Nick, and started up Rocky Mountain Cruisers. Rocky Mountain Cruisers is one of the premier Toyota Land Cruiser restoration shops in the United States.

After raising our boys and many years of owning a restoration and repair shop, we were ready to start a new adventure. We decided that Costa Rica would be a great place to set up roots. In May of 2010 we packed our bags and headed south. Here in Tamarindo we set up shop and home.

We would like to share a unique eco adventure 4×4 tour into the Real Costa Rica with you. Climb aboard or drive one of our open air Vintage Toyota Land Cruisers as we explore a private jungle sanctuary.

We will take you on an adventure to explore the real Costa Rica. Our guides will point out the flora and fauna of the Guanacaste area. We will also take a short hike off the beaten path to enjoy nature at its finest. Our tour lasts about 3 to 3.5 hours. After the exhilarating experience we will sit down to a gourmet lunch prepared especially for you.

Custom packages for larger parties can be found on our website under wedding and groups.

Tamarindo Triathlon Aug 23

Extreme Vale Todo 4 - A Qualified Success Jun 27

Tamarindo has now become a regular stop on on the tour of a group of fight promoters, pitting Central American champions against fighters traveling through the country. The Beach Club hosted last night’s fights. Unfortunately, the Red Cross, contracted to provide medical assistance, arrived two hours late.

The fights started around 8:30PM with Marcela Soto of San Jose fighting a foreign opponent. She put up a good fight, but eventually the referee ended the fight in favor of her opponent. Bruce from Playa Grande fought a Jiu Jitsu match against a Central American mixed martial arts master. There was also a Muy Thai fight. Unfortunately, the more hyped bouts never happened as rains started to come down around 10PM, ending the outdoor event.

Tamarindo looks forward to the next event!
