Pura Adventura Canopy Tour Well Worth the Visit Dec 03

The new favorite canopy tour in the area of Tamarindo is Pura Adventura, located at Hacienda La Norma in 27 de Abril. They will pick you up at your lodging in Tamarindo in their air conditioned mini bus and take you out to the farm. From the rustic greeting house, you take a ride up the hill in the truck. From there the adventure begins. Pura Adventura’s zip lines start at the top of the hill with a majestic view of the Pacific and the mountains. The guides will train you on how to break as you slide down the lines. Pura Adventura canopy tour I have seen that uses a double steel cable for extra security. The howler is the longest slide measuring 500 meters. It is quite an experience. My sister of 13 years old went along with a family friend aged 68, so people of all ages can enjoy the adventure. Hacienda La Norma also offers horseback riding.

Sunny Rainy Season Thus Far Sep 24

For those of you that have been away from Tamarindo lately, the weather has been abnormally sunny.  Today was clear until mid afternoon when showers started to fall.  It cleared up again this evening.  In general, the mini summer was very long this year (no rain) and when the rains returned, they have generally been scattered showers through late September.  We’ll see what October has in store!
