Tamarindo Marathon

If you were in Tamarindo on Friday, you might have noticed a sudden wave of traffic starting around 1PM. People were making their way to Tamarindo for the Tamarindo Marathon in droves. Most arrived Friday afternoon to enjoy the evening in Tamarindo and left Sunday. The marathon itself started at 5AM Saturday morning with people running full half and shorter distances.

There were also participants in racing wheel chairs competing.  Many observers camped along the roads in Tamarindo to cheer on their friends and family.

The weather was great and there were lots of tired but smiling faces later Saturday morning as runners made their way back into Tamarindo.

Hidden Coast Realty Property Management hosted lots of marathoners in various properties we manage as we offered a 10% discount to participants. Look for discounts for the upcoming triathlon in Hacienda Pinilla in October.

Tamarindo will play host to a road race with many visitors coming to run either the 10k or the full marathon. The race will take place Saturday, September 12th. HCRPM will be hosting many visitors from the central valley. Let us know if you need accommodations!
