Many visitors do not realize that you can stay in a fully equipped, privately owned condominium with a full kitchen at a lower rate than you will find at popular Tamarindo hotels.

Some tips to maximize your budget in Tamarindo:

• Understand how rates work. Christmas, New Years and Easter are always the most expensive weeks of the year. High season is typically December through May and more expensive than the rest of the year. May is typically slow and July often has a couple weeks of straight sunshine. Take advantage!
